She is currently on academic probation. She will be fired if she fails even one class. She believes it is over when she receives a failing score on her last class report. The professor offers tutoring and she discovers his number. Rachel is overcome with dread, even though such acts of kindness are often heartwarming. Professor Sloan (John Strong), has always had a special spot for Rachel. You can see it in the way he watches her during class. He is a nuisance and she is full of creepy vibes. But she would have to go lower than ever in her life. Rachel will go to great lengths to obtain her college degree.
